Andy Stirnal studied political science and is currently pursuing an executive MBA in Public Affairs. After working in the field of political communication in the context of Brussels security policy, he developed management events for executives in the fields of IT security, marketing and corporate finance. Against the background of a high demand for information and advice in the field of European project development - an impression that was gained while intensively working with the European Commission in the field of project funding and stakeholder processes - he became a certified project manager (GPM) and EU funding consultant working in the field since 2013. Since several years Andy Stirnal also works as a policy analyst and business development manager for the specialist magazine "The European Security and Defence Union" published by Behörden Spiegel. He contributes topics and editorials, analyses the European agenda and supports companies in positioning themselves in security and technology policy debates. For Behörden Spiegel, he monitors the European funding agenda and designs specialist events combining the topics of European Security, technology and funding policies.
